The SDEE3 platform (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Services”) is operated by Stefan Djokic (SDEE3) as a personal hobby project. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, and the choices you have when you use identity.sdee3.com and any other application hosted under the *.sdee3.com domain, including Astro Mate, AI Debates, Virgo, Portfolio, and future SDEE3 apps that share the same sign-in and credits system. By signing in with your Google account or using any of these Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Sign-in and account data (Google via Clerk)
identity.sdee3.com is the central authentication and credits hub for all SDEE3 apps. We offer Google account sign-in only — there is no email-and-password registration on the platform. When you choose “Sign in with Google,” Clerk (our authentication provider) completes the Google OAuth flow and gives us access to basic profile fields from your Google account:
- From Google (via Clerk) — your Google account email address, display name, and (if your Google profile has one) a profile image URL. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Stored in Convex — we copy your Clerk user id, email, name, and profile image URL into our Convex database so we can identify you and show your profile across SDEE3 apps. All other user and app data described in this policy is also stored in Convex unless noted otherwise.
1.2 Information collected through SDEE3
In addition to the account fields above, the identity hub stores:
- Cross-app linkage — which SDEE3 apps you have used and when you first and last opened each one.
- Credits and payments — your credit balance, credit purchase and usage history, and a Stripe customer identifier when you buy credits. Payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
- Audit logs — security-relevant actions (such as account creation, credit grants, and credit debits) recorded with a user id, app identifier, action type, timestamp, and optional metadata.
- Anti-abuse counters — rate-limit counters (such as “number of actions by a key in the last window”) to prevent automated abuse. These counters do not contain message or prompt content.
1.3 Information collected in individual SDEE3 apps
Each app may collect additional data needed to operate its features. The following summaries apply today; an app may collect more detail as described in its own in-app notices:
- Astro Mate — birth data (date, time, time zone, birthplace), profile and dating preferences, messages, matches, discussions, reactions, blocks, reports, and computed astrology outputs (natal charts and synastry scores).
- AI Debates — debate topics and prompts you submit, AI model responses generated for your debates, and debate visibility settings (such as whether a debate is public).
- Virgo — tarot reading inputs you provide and the AI-generated interpretations produced for those readings.
- Portfolio — content you view or interact with on the portfolio site, as needed to operate that site.
App-specific data is stored in the same Convex backend as your identity account and is tied to your Clerk user id.
1.4 Information you provide about other people
Some apps let you enter data about people who are not registered on the platform (for example, a custom synastry chart in Astro Mate). You should only enter another person’s personal data with their consent. We do not contact those individuals.
1.5 Information collected automatically
- Authentication session data — after you sign in with Google, Clerk sets session cookies in your browser so you stay signed in across
*.sdee3.comapps that use the shared sign-in. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or device fingerprints on the identity hub. - Server and security logs — our hosting providers may log IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps for reliability and abuse prevention. We do not use these logs to build advertising profiles.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and share your session across SDEE3 apps on
*.sdee3.com. - To maintain your credit balance and process credit purchases and usage across apps.
- To operate each app’s features (astrology calculations, AI debates, tarot readings, dating and messaging, and similar functionality).
- To moderate content and enforce our acceptable-use rules where an app supports user-generated content or reporting.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and automated attacks.
- To maintain the Services (debugging, backups, and reliability).
- To respond to your requests, including data-export and account-deletion requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we donot share it with third parties for their own advertising or commercial purposes.
3. Where Your Information Is Stored
Convex is where we store your user and app data. Clerk handles Google sign-in and session management; Stripe handles payments when you buy credits. Specifically:
- Convex (Convex, Inc.) — our primary database and application backend. Convex stores your user profile (Clerk user id, email, name, profile image URL), credits, audit logs, cross-app linkage, and all app-specific data described in Sections 1.2–1.3.
- Clerk (Clerk Inc.) — manages Google account sign-in and your authenticated session. Clerk holds your Google-linked identity record and session tokens. We do not store your Google password or OAuth secrets; we receive only the profile fields Clerk shares with our backend after a successful Google sign-in.
- Google — when you sign in, Google authenticates you under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We receive only the profile information Google makes available to Clerk for this sign-in flow.
- Stripe (Stripe, Inc.) — processes credit purchases when you buy credits on the identity hub. Stripe collects and stores your payment method; we receive only a customer id, payment status, and purchase metadata needed to credit your account in Convex.
When you sign in from another SDEE3 app, authentication is routed through identity.sdee3.com using ticket-based single sign-on with Google via Clerk. Your shared account and credits data lives in Convex; Clerk keeps you signed in across subdomains.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The primary cookies we set are Clerk’s authentication session cookies, created after you sign in with Google. They are required to keep you signed in across SDEE3 apps. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies on the identity hub. You can clear cookies at any time; you will then need to sign in with Google again.
5. Data Sharing
We share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- With Google, only as part of the sign-in flow you initiate (“Sign in with Google”).
- With our service providers (Clerk, Convex, and Stripe) as described in Section 3, each under their own privacy and data-processing terms.
- With AI model providers, only to the extent needed to generate outputs you request in apps such as AI Debates and Virgo. We send the minimum prompt or context needed for that request; providers process it under their own terms.
- With other users, only as needed to operate a feature you use (for example, your public Astro Mate dating profile when you enable it, or messages to your matches).
- When required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the Services.
6. Your Privacy Choices
- App-specific visibility. Features such as public dating profiles or public debates are only shown to others when you enable the relevant setting in that app.
- Sign out. You can sign out at any time from the account menu in any SDEE3 app. Session cookies remain until you sign out or clear them.
- Do not buy credits. You are not required to purchase credits to create an account; credits are only needed for paid actions within apps.
7. Data Retention
- We retain your account, credits, and app data for as long as your account is active.
- Computed caches (such as natal charts or saved debate results) are kept until you delete your account or the relevant content so the Services do not need to recompute them on every visit.
- Moderation records, reports, and audit logs may be retained for the life of the relevant accounts to support abuse prevention and security.
- Some content supports soft-delete; deleted content may remain recoverable in backups for a limited period.
- After you delete your account as described in Section 8, your data is removed from our active Convex database; residual copies may persist in our backups for up to 60 days before being overwritten or purged.
8. Access, Export, and Deletion
You have the right to access, export, and delete the personal data we hold about you across the SDEE3 platform.
- Export. You may request a machine-readable export of your account, credits history, and app data we hold. To request an export, email privacy@sdee3.com from the address associated with your account.
- Deletion. You may delete your account and the personal data associated with it. Because account deletion spans our Convex database and your Clerk record (linked to your Google account), please email privacy@sdee3.com from the address associated with your account and we will:
- Remove your profile, credits data, and app-specific data we store in Convex across SDEE3 apps; and
- Request deletion of your Clerk identity record (your Google-linked sign-in) from our authentication provider.
- Withdrawal of consent for third-party data. If you entered another person’s data (such as a custom chart) and later want it removed, email us and we will delete that data.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account for general SDEE3 apps. Some features impose a higher minimum age — for example, Astro Mate’s dating features require you to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone below the applicable minimum age. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please email privacy@sdee3.com and we will delete it.
10. International Users
The Services are available globally. If you access them from outside the operator’s country of residence, your information will be processed in Convex and by Clerk, Google (during sign-in), Stripe, and (where applicable) AI providers in the regions they operate, and you acknowledge that transfers may be subject to the laws of those regions.
11. Your Rights Under GDPR (European Economic Area and UK)
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Access — receive a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — request deletion as described in Section 8.
- Restriction — limit our processing in certain circumstances.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format; use the export process in Section 8.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, including consent you gave us to process another person’s data.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@sdee3.com. We will respond within one month, in line with GDPR. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your local data-protection authority.
12. Your Rights Under CCPA (California)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its regulations:
- Know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect.
- Delete — request deletion as described in Section 8.
- Correct — correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale — we do not sell personal information, so no opt-out is necessary.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — sensitive data we process (such as birth data in Astro Mate) is used to provide the feature you requested; you may limit it by deleting your account or the relevant data.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@sdee3.com.
13. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: sign-in is Google-only through Clerk; authentication is enforced on protected Convex functions via Clerk-issued JWTs; your user and app data is stored in Convex; payment data is held by Stripe; access to other users’ data is scoped to the relationships you have (such as matched conversations); and we run anti-abuse rate limiting. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the affected Services. Your continued use of any SDEE3 Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
